Our Arin researchers and scholars have translated the Third Installment of the Book of Talos, which reveals how Talos commenced his journey toward ascension. This story presents the humble beginning of his voyage, as the proverb states: “The journey of a thousand miles must commence with a single step.”

“They start their journey to return to his home. Traveling by the stars in the sky, they can find their way back. Once they arrived, they met up with Poike and his wife and explained that Talos was the lost son of the great Kempe and the beautiful Fagra. Also, to ascend and regain his place, he needed to figure out how to retrieve his divinity. He would spend that last night with the ones that had raised him and then set off to find his destiny. At first light, he and Skapelse would set off on their journey to conquer his divinity back.”

1.1-2 Journey Beginnings

1.1-2-1 Thalassa

“Talos and Skapelse departed from the Isle of Talos and headed for the Vault Atoll, just north of The Great Empire. Upon arriving, they discovered a small island, Thalassa, a verdant and forested piece of land close to the coast. They landed, and while Skapelse searched for dinner, Talos explored the island. There were no indications of any race having settled there. Thus, Talos concluded that Thalassa was a suitable place to establish camp and commence his training. For the first few nights, he slept on the back of Skapelse since he had not yet constructed a home.

As time passed, Talos cleared away the trees and areas of the center, eventually uncovering a small hiding hole on the top of the hill. Upon entering the hole, Talos found a spacious room with furniture and living accommodations, yet no sign of a resident. He spent some time deciphering who or what had been living there. After a period of investigation, Talos became fatigued and fell asleep. Shortly after that, he awoke to a shadowy figure holding a blade at his throat. As the fog of sleep dissipated, Talos started to gain a clearer view of the figure, which had now taken the form of three separate beings.”
