Arin researchers and scholars translated the thirteenth tablet of the origins, titled Niefel’s Abomination. This notable document explains how Niefel, the Goddess of Death, created the Galdarians with the intention of striking fear in the hearts of others.

Translation

“Once Niefel had been banished to the Underworld, she initially rejoiced, feeling liberated from her righteous siblings. She and Udrar had been attempting to help Annuler find peace, and they could not have foreseen the consequences. Being gifted with her realm to rule without interference, Niefel could not have desired anything better. Yet, as time passed, Niefel became increasingly frustrated with the activity occurring just above her. She observed her siblings creating their beings to worship them, and despite numerous attempts, she could not locate an entry point to Arindal (previously Arcadia). In the end, she discovered a pool of Annuler’s blood on the southern edge of the mainland, where she could exercise control due to its position between worlds. She used this to create her race: the Galdarians. They would act as her minions of chaos, instilling fear into the creations of the other Gods – Kempe’s creations especially. Taking a jar full of Annuler’s blood, she cast her spell on it, and immediately, the Galdarians crawled forth, devoted to serving her. The Galdarians presented a variety of shapes and sizes, from fast and robust to enormous. These would be the source of fear for any being that her siblings would bring to the land. This was the only way Niefel could exert her influence, and it provided her with enough satisfaction to keep her occupied, destroying what others had built. As Niefel’s creations began to cause chaos across the continent, she realized that the souls of the departed would be consigned to her realm. She was entrusted with caring for the dead, and this responsibility only increased as the number of casualties grew. This filled her with a sense of purpose, and she reveled in being able to wield power over the Underworld, even over the heroes of her siblings.”
