Today, Neo Times (previously the Lootverse Gazette) editors are set to take you on a tour through the Kingdom of Xbysl. This region, located in the northeast of Arindal, boasts rich green fields, hills, mountains, and historical landmarks waiting to be explored. Join us as we meet some of these stunning destinations and delve deeper into one of the most significant regions of Arindal.
Mountains and Hills
Within the territory of the Kingdom of Xbysl, you can find one mountain and two hills. Peak Hermes, the second-highest mountain in the world, stands at an impressive 7,899 meters. A visit to this awe-inspiring location is a must when touring this land. This mountain, one of the six summits in Arindal, is not the easiest to climb. It’s become famous among adventurers for its high difficulty level.
For beginners, starting with a lower hill in the region to enjoy the serene views is a good idea. Take Hill Station X023 for instance. Standing at 223 meters above sea level, it once featured a lighthouse to guide vessels away from the treacherous coast. Nowadays, it sees hundreds of visitors from expeditions and sporting events. Another captivating journey is a visit to Hill Station X012. With an altitude of 111 meters, this location offers stunning views of the shore and the region’s main destinations when facing the countryside.
Historical Landmarks
If you have a keen interest in the history of this world, the region is full of fantastic opportunities. Here, you can delve into Arindal’s ancient society and mythology. The Great Wall of the North is one of the most famous historical landmarks. This millennia-old construction extends the border wall that once divided Royaume De Satoshi and the Kingdom of Xbysl from The Great Empire. According to legend, the Great Fire of the North began here, with Dragons and Beasts battling, causing widespread devastation.
Many tourists also relish visiting The Gate to the Kingdom of Xbysl. This beautifully preserved historical landmark was erected after the Upper Kingdom. It offers a magnificent view of Mount Hermes and Mount Aphrodite.
Bridges
Over the epochs, the ancient Lootians built remarkable structures, including bridges that connect districts and facilitate trade and transportation. In the Kingdom of Xbysl, some bridges have gained significant popularity. Borghild’s Pass, for example, serves as the first major river crossing into this region. An ancient tale suggests it was named to honor Kempe’s faithful stallion, Borghild, who fought against five of Niefel’s harpies, driving them back to the Underworld.
Jarl Link, another bridge, is known for its beauty and historical significance. Situated in the heart of the forest at the foot of Hill Station X012, this small structure exudes a bucolic atmosphere, making it special. Lastly, if you’re touring this part of the world, you’re likely to hear about Gandalf’s Crossing. This stone archway bridge is renowned, having been constructed using materials from The Great Wall of the North. From here, you can often see local residents in their personal boats, journeying from Peak Hermes to the ocean.
Harbors
Thor’s Landing is undoubtedly one of the substantial harbors in Arindal. During the colder season, it becomes blanketed in deep snow. As an important trading port, it has functioned for many centuries, processing imports and exports for the region. This massive structure plays a crucial role in the development of the districts in this part of the world.
Entertainment
The Kingdom of Xbysl, home to Gods and Demons, also hosts the first play-to-earn game in Arindal. More users join this treasure hunt experience daily, eager to search for the Gods and explore the world’s map. The game rules are simple for newcomers. The twenty-one Gods of Arindal randomly appear on different plots for a few minutes. If you find them and leave a comment, you collect blessings (points). The top three players at the end of each week can win up to a combined 1,000 USDC (ERC20).
