NeoWorlder recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, having supported innovation and created unique experiences in the tech environment. Its first solution, the Prism (previously the Arena), is a gamified platform that enables users to bid in auctions for NFTs, allowing hundreds of artists worldwide to showcase and sell their artwork. To date, more than 1.1 million dollars have been paid to creators. This, however, was only the first step of the discoveries that would lead to the world as we know it today.
In October, the virtual world was created, and the NeoWorlder team has since established five core sites, comprising The Prism, the Government (the gateway to the world’s environment), the Marketplace (previously Satoshi’s Lounge), and the Fund (now Core). With this foundation, the first users began to purchase their properties. Subsequently, a publication was created to keep them up to date with the news in the world: The Lootverse Gazette (now Neo Times).
In the first quarter, the map was given a more appropriate representation in the form of an interactive map. Reminiscent of Google, this platform offers users a holistic view of the world and all its kingdoms. The first reveal on it was the natural resources fields, presented to the Parliament. Subsequently, the mountains, landmarks, and historical data were displayed, adding significant complexity to life in Neo Worlds. Properties were selling quickly, with two regions — the Isle of Talos and Royaume de Satoshi — already sold out. Users and visitors can explore the regular map of the land, as well as access the Terrain, Satellite, Underworld, and Sky views. A weather layer is expected to be available soon.
Interactions Taken to the Next Level
To provide users with new features and take their interactions to the next level, the team has worked hard. The first in-world game, Gods and Demons, is a treasure hunt in which users can seek the 21 Gods on the map and win USDC. Additionally, social media was launched, allowing users to follow each other using the mark function and view their network updates on the feed.
The financial structure has also gained new features, such as Over-The-Counter (OTC) services, where businesses can offer Tickets in-world, and other possibilities for the user. After a year, the worlds have accumulated an impressive number of high-quality partners in various sectors, including Lootnance (exchange), Heavenly Development (property development), World Ventures (3D visualization and applications), and Versa (payments). These enterprises are collaborating in the world’s fast-paced evolution, helping users to quickly perform actions worldwide.
James Duchenne, CEO of NeoWorlder, commented: “The world’s development and success is a model for many worlds that are yet to be discovered and explored. With the right expertise, wonders can be achieved in the metaverse environment, from the entertainment to the business perspectives; this is a valuable opportunity for all brands, entrepreneurs, and users to enjoy. On this one-year anniversary, we celebrate this magnificent world with its culture, technology, politics, and economic activity, which are paving the way to a new generation of alternate realities.”
