Our Arin research team recently announced the translation of the tenth tablet: The Origin of The Visskin. This document provides researchers with an enhanced understanding of the race brought to life by Viss, the Goddess of Intelligence. It goes beyond simply their creation and explains the covenant they must keep at the behest of Viss.
Translation
The Hakoritanga detailed the creation of the Visskin, a race of unrivaled intelligence and prowess. They were tall and slender, fleet of foot and nimble of step, and could not be matched in speed. Viss created them from a cup of the blood of Annuler and pure snow from the peak of Mount Hermes, and they became the progenitors of the written word of the land within the ancient Arindal world. They were also to devote their lives to the mastery of a skill or trade and to originate the most divinely pure creations that can be made by Lootians’ hands. As a reminder of their ability with ranged fighting and mastery of combat tactics, the Visskin were granted a Lineage of Kings and the Triad of Knowledge—King Lindwell, Lindwyn, and Evangelyn, The Harmonious. The Visskin were given control of all the lands to the north of the mountains, spanning the Royaume De Satoshi and Xbysl. This region became their home and the perfect place for them to focus on the mastery of knowledge and ability. The Visskin were renowned far and wide, and their names would be spoken of through the epochs to come. As a result, their memory and the knowledge they fostered were to be preserved. The covenant with Viss was for them to offer up the sight of their creations and praise for the gifts bestowed upon them. If they failed to do so, they would no longer be worthy of what was entrusted to them.
